FAQ's
What state must I be in to become a client?
Elle W. serves as your health coach, supporting you in achieving your wellness goals.
You can reside in any U.S. state for all services. She holds a Multistate RN license but operates as a health consultant and educator, focusing on your individual health needs. Please note that she does not act as your nurse or primary care provider, nor does she medically diagnose, treat, or cure conditions.
How are your methods different from other practitioners?
Elle combines training from The Integrative Nurse Coach Academy with education and expertise in nutrition testing, genetic mutations, holistic pharmacology, homeopathy, and naturopathy. This combined approach helps uncover root causes often overlooked by conventional medicine, empowering the body to heal and restore health. Her personalized strategies optimize health based on your unique genetic profile, offering an in-depth and individualized approach to wellness.
How long does it take to see results?
Results vary by individual. Some clients notice improvements within weeks, while others may take longer. Our standard programs span 3-6 months, as addressing long-standing imbalances requires time. Years of stress and illness take a toll, and proper healing and restoration cannot be rushed.
How many tests do I need?
No tests are required to benefit from working with us. However, many clients choose to incorporate testing to uncover subtle underlying issues, allowing for more targeted therapy and quicker results. Common tests include nutrient deficiency, food allergen testing, hormone levels, stool analysis, and organic acid testing. Tests may use blood, urine, saliva, or stool. If able to, clients are asked to upload labs from the past year via the patient portal at least 48 hours before their initial visit.
Do I need a doctor or provider while working with Harvest Wellness?
Yes, maintaining a relationship with your primary care provider is essential. While Emae provides lab reviews and educational support, she does not act as your primary care provider. If a condition outside the scope of functional medicine arises, clients will be referred to their primary care provider or emergency services as appropriate. Emae brings years of acute and critical care experience, ensuring clients receive well-rounded support.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment?
All appointments are prepaid at the time of booking. Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours' notice. Missed appointments will be refunded at 50% of the prepaid rate. Initial consultation paperwork must be submitted 48 hours before the scheduled visit to allow for thorough preparation.
What happens if I’m late to my appointment?
Emae will wait up to 15 minutes for your arrival. Late arrivals will still conclude at the original end time, as Emae remains available for the entire scheduled duration. Partial refunds are not provided for late-start visits.
Can I send questions between visits?
Current clients have access to messaging for clarifying questions between visits. New concerns or detailed inquiries require a scheduled appointment. Messages are answered during business hours, and replies are typically prompt. Notifications will be provided for any extended unavailability, such as vacations.
Why don’t you accept health insurance?
Participating with insurance providers often limits the quality and time spent with clients. Insurance reimbursement models favor brief, symptom-focused care rather than the comprehensive, personalized approach provided by Harvest Wellness. By operating outside the insurance model, Emae ensures high-quality, time-intensive care tailored to your needs.
Do you accept FSA or HSA cards?
Yes, many clients use FSA or HSA cards for functional medicine consultations. Please confirm with your insurer that these payments are allowed and whether a letter of medical necessity is required.
Why do you sell supplements instead of recommending over-the-counter options?
We offer high-quality, therapeutic-grade supplements at a discounted rate as a service to our clients. While you’re welcome to source supplements elsewhere, quality matters. Many over-the-counter products lack the efficacy or purity required for optimal results. Harvest Wellness only partners with reputable distributors to ensure clients receive effective and safe products.
What is your return policy on supplements and tests?
What is your refund policy on visits?
Visits are refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. The Genetic Review Package is non-refundable.
